I am a literary critic and teacher, I make zines and am involved in diy and artist run projects.

I completed a PhD in the School of Humanities and Social Science at The University of Newcastle, Australia in 2006. My thesis was an investigation of autobiographical writing in Australian zine culture, with a particular interest in the materiality of the zine form, and the production of communities of reading / writing in diy culture. It's now a book Intimate Ephemera, published by Melbourne University Press.

I have been involved in a bunch of diy projects, including various roles with This Is Not Art in the early 2000s.
